No one will deny that Tokio Hotel is the most popular youth band in Europe. During 3 years they released 4 albums, 4 DVD’s, 10 singles, made 2 tours in Germany and in whole Europe and in North America, but 4 guys from Magdeburg still remembers the beginning of their career.

After an ordinary show in one of Magdeburg club’s the beginner of Tokio Hotel – band Devilish – saw famous Germany’s producers: David Jost, Patrick Benzner and Peter Hoffman. In 2004 Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav changed their bands name into Tokio Hotel, signed the contract with „Universal Music“ recording company and started to work in „Sony BMG“ studio in Hamburg. Their first work – "Durch den Monsun" in Germany’s music charts started on the 20th of August, 2005 in the 15th place. Tokio Hotel became the all times youngest band which was in the tops of music charts. Then it was clear, that these 4 guys will have an enormous fame. "Durch den Monsun" for the band organized thousands of fans and after a month Tokio Hotel took 2 the most prestigious German awards - „Comet“ for „The Best Newcomer“ and „Super Comet“ – the Best Band in the awards. After that there were billions of awards, and finally the 2008’s end crowned MTV EMA award in the „Headliner“ category, where Tokio Hotel scored these bands like Linkin Park and Metallica. When they got acclaims in the whole Europe, from Portugal to Finland, they conquered even Russia and Israel. Now Tokio Hotel is storming United States and they’re doing it good!
